Product Description

APPLICATIONS

RWU90 conductors are primarily used in conduit or recognized raceways for services, feeders, and branch circuit wiring as specified in the National Electrical Code. RWU90 conductors may be used in wet or dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90°C dry or wet. Voltage rating for RWU90 conductors is 600 volts. Suitable for use in Health Care Facilities per section 517.160 of the NEC where a dielectric constant of 3.5 or less may be specified. This product in sizes 500kcmil and larger is designed to be installed without the application of pulling lubricant.

STANDARD

RWU90 conductors comply with the following:

• UL Standard 44

CONSTRUCTION

RWU90 conductors are copper, compact stranded. The insulation is an abrasion, moisture and heat resistant thermoset cross-linked polyethylene. Conductor sizes AWG 2 and larger listed and marked sunlight resistant in black only.

RECOMMENDED SAMPLE SPECIFICATIONS

Conductors shall be UL-listed Type RWU90, suitable for operation at 600 volts or less in wet or dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90 ºC dry and wet. Conductors shall be annealed copper as manufactured by Morn Company or approved equal.
