Aluminum duplex overhead cables are manufactured and designed for overhead power distribution as compared to the conventional bare conductor overhead distribution system.
Duplex aluminium overhead cables have two conductors: one for electrodes, and the other one as a messenger (neutral conductor).
The product is a new type of aerial cable for power transmitting . It is extensively used in overhead power transmission line. It improves the safety and reliance of electrified wire netting . It is primarily used on lighting, outdoor lighting,and temporary service for construction . Duplex cables are used in single-phase power lines and the conductor temperatures no exceed 75ºC for polyethylene insulated conductors 90ºC for crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated conductors.
